About Us
Prodigy Surface Tech was created to offer its clients an alternative to the common electroplating shop. Our mission has been to design and build a specialty plating lab to handle any task from mission-critical research and development to full-scale production.
Prodigy Surface Tech is comprised of experts in the plating field who have worked together since 1987. We specialize in applying engineering principles that result in superior parts for our customers.

| John Shaw, President and CTO John has a Bachelor's degree in Physics and 16 years of plating experience. John is an expert developer and engineer, having developed plating processes for ceramics, refractory metals, and platinum plating of titanium. John has 8 years experience in quality assurance and documentation, especially for ISO 9000:2000. |
| Mark Danitschek, Chairman and COO Mark has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, a minor in Business Management, and 25 years of history in the plating industry. Equally seasoned on the administrative and production sides, Mark has extensive experience growing businesses from infancy to full-scale operation and is knowledgable in every stage of the plating process. |
| Jim Kikoshima, Vice President of Research & Development Jim's 20 years of knowledge and experience in precious metals and chemistry offers great benefits to our customers. He is particularly talented in process design, development, and implementation. |
| Randy Souza, Sales and Marketing Randy has outstanding engineering and facilities expertise, having been in plating lab production and management for over 20 years. Randy knows what is important to our customers and is able to communicate processes with individuals in management, engineering, and production alike. |
